When asked what we love about our house we had a hard time narrowing it down. If one word came to mind it would be Retreat. Our house sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a friendly and safe neighborhood. It has conveniences such as in-floor heat, on-demand hot water, natural gas and city sewer/water. Yet it feels like you are living in the country.
It's surrounded by the forest filled with various wildlife. The fire pit and lounge area provide our own personal retreat from the busy outside world. Our home is large, yet cozy, with an open floor plan and lots of windows. The windows bring in warmth and light during the summer, and the bedroom fireplace makes it a perfect place to sleep in and cozy up during the winter. We have loved the large open indoor space to host winter gatherings with friends and the big back yard for summer entertaining and BBQs.
